Vince Chafin began his music career in his teens as an accomplished Jazz Bassist and later performed with some of the most influential Jazz artist of our time such as Michael Brecker, Freddy Hubbard, Matt Cattingoub and Benny Wallace to name a few. His passion for music led him to further explore the intricacies of Blues, R&B, Rock and even country. In 2004, Vince discovered the healing and magical properties of the Native American Flute and embarked on a personal journey to developing a powerful relationship with the Native American, Anasazi and pre-Columbian Aztec Flutes. "I have felt what these sacred instruments do to me, and I have witnessed repeatedly the healing they can bring to others," said Vince. He has since performed with Grammy Awards winner Mary Youngblood, accomplished artist Jan Michael Looking Wolf, Jeff Ball and many more. Gary Stroutsos recording artist, composer, educator, and multi cultural artist of world based flute music. A world music sound traveler whose passion and great respect for Cuban, Asian, American Native, and Jazz flute styles underlie his own unique musical expression.
"I can almost hear the land …the music dancing on different shores and the cry of the people inside these flute melodies", says Gary, who has recorded and produced over 20 world instrumental recordings using the flutes of many cultures, including the American Indian, Chinese Bamboo Xiao, Dize, Contemporary Clay Aerophones, Silver Alto, and C concert flutes.
Spending time with the Hunkpapa Lakota Sitting Bull people from the Standing Rock Sioux reservation inspired his benchmark contemporary American Indian recording for Makoche Records, Winds of Honor.

JAN MICHAEL LOOKING WOLF A PATH OF UNITY: A Kalapuya Native American with Irish descent, Jan Michael Looking Wolf has become an accomplished recording artist with 14 CDs and 2 DVDs recorded on various Indie Record Labels earning 19 National Award Nominations – 5 for Best Flutist - and a top ten ranking in the 2007 national New Age Charts.... His prior work with the native flute ranges from Solo Flute, blues, jazz, classical, to Indie Rock with a full band......In concert, Jan Michael offers songs that reflect his experience as a native and just how diverse the native flute can be...... In spring of 1994, Jan Michael suffered two large strokes from a very rare unknown genetic enzyme disorder and had blood clots pass through his heart and cause bleeding in the lungs. As a result from the strokes, he was paralyzed on the entire left side of his body. He received a miraculous healing and recovered 100% from the strokes. After performing live at the 2007 Native American Music Awards show, Jan Michael was signed with GRAMMY winning producer George Noriega on a major record label. Noriega is known for producing such artists as Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, and Gloria Estephan..........In addition to recording and performing, Jan Michael has instructed an accredited Native American Flute Course at Oregon State University for over 4 years and has taught literally over 1,000 people how to play the flute.
